New to yoga and not sure where to start? Find your balance—both physically and mentally—with this beginner-friendly yoga class.

The Yoga for Every Body series is a welcoming class that makes yoga accessible to all. No matter your shape, size, or fitness level, this class focuses on building a strong foundation in yoga through gentle stretches, basic poses and breathwork.

You will be guided through the basic poses of yoga using a slower pace to help you feel comfortable and confident as you learn. You will discover the calming, strengthening benefits of yoga at your own pace, in a supportive, non-judgmental space.

No need to be flexible—just bring yourself!

It’s never too late to learn and start practicing!

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Location: Mountain Wellness Centre Studio - 437 Concession St, Hamilton, ON L9A 1C1

Cost:

  • $25 per class

  • 4-Classes Pass - $90

  • 6-Classes Pass - $120

  • 8-Class Pass - $150

  • 10 - Class Pass - $180 - NEW!

Must be at least 16 years of age or older to attend. No prior yoga experience required.

What you will Learn

It's never a bad time to start learning or practicing yoga to reap the benefits. This class will help you see firsthand how yoga can be accessible for all fitness levels and body types, as well as gain from the tremendous benefits that come from the practice. Each week you will learn:

  • The foundational poses of yoga.

  • Adjusted options for each movement.

  • Alignment tips and tricks for poses.

  • Receive hands on adjustments to support your learning.

  • Various breathing techniques and basic meditation principals.

  • Slower paced class so you can feel into each pose.

Meet Your Teacher - Catherine

I’m so honored to be able to help guide you through this yoga journey together. I’ve been teaching yoga for over 6-years, and practicing even longer. I love helping people learn and experience the many benefits of yoga - both on and off the mat.

I’ve personally learned so much through my years of both practicing and teaching. As we practice together, I’m learning along side of you.

My goal is to make this experience as enjoyable as possible. I promise I will do my best to make you smile at least once during class - after all, it’s just yoga.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Should a class be cancelled for any reason, it will be announced via email to those who have pre-registered. Make-up classes may be scheduled. Refunds or credits will not be provided for missed classes, or unused class from passes purchased for a specific time period.
